*Pledges to sponsor FC’s first album that is due for release soon

The federal lawmaker representing Burutu Federal Constituency, House of Representatives, Hon Julius Pondi has offered Pupamor London Mutu, a traditional musician a scholarship to return to complete his university education.
Popularly called FC, Pupamor became famous amongst members of his Ijaw speaking tribe and other lovers of raw talent alike when a video of his performance surfaced on the internet two months ago. The video coupled with a touching story of Mr FC’s life that has attracted several invitations from well meaning individuals, groups, radio and TV stations, prominent amongst which is the invitation from the Burutu federal House of Representatives member.
The meeting which took place at the Honourable’s Warri residence was witnessed by a few prominent leaders of the constituency.
Hon Pondi has also offered to sponsor in its entirety FC’s first album that is due to be released anytime soon.
In his words, “Today I want to declare that FC is my friend. He is not just a friend, but a very close one. I also wish to offer him scholarship for the duration of period he will spend at any university of his choice, having indicated interest to return to school.” He pledged.
