Sen. Omo-Agege called on governor Okowa to step down from the ticket of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.

Sen. Omo-Agege pointed out that Delta State is in a state of “despair” and “destruct”.

He said Delta State is supposed to be one of the richest States in the Niger Delta. He added that with its natural endowment especially with the federation account , 13%derivation and others received, there’s nothing to show in commensurate order.

Sen. Omo-Agege pointed out that Warri has become the headquarters of Keke capital in Delta State.

He stressed that the people are suffering in the midst of plenty and they want the narrative to change.

While noting that Edo State got 100billion naira from the money, Oshiomhole enjoined Deltans to ask Governor Okowa whom he described as a “hopeless vice presidential aspirant” if he heard what governor Wike said. He said Delta State got 250billion naira apart from the 13% derivation to the State and others.

According to him, Wike said the money he received, he has been using to construct flyovers in Rivers State.

He said Deltans should ask Okowa why he did not disclose or announced it apart from the 60billion refund of Federal road.

Oshiomhole also lambasted governor for failing to pensioneers their gratuities in the State.

He noted that governor who had agreed with other governors from the South-South region that power should be zoned to the region allegedly betrayed them by a ceoting to be vice president.

“If a man cannot stand on his words, what qualifies you to preside over Nigeria?”.

He pointed out that Governor Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa had followed Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to Kaduna where he allegedly said it will not be good to vote for Igbo man.
