Pastor Integrity Osaghae , the resident pastor of living Faith Church (Winner’s Chapel) Imgbi road, Amarata, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State identified Spirituality, Change, Nakedness and effective Communication as key tools for having a marital success.
Pastor Integrity disclose this during the solemnization of Holy matrimony between Ebinyo Thom-Okoro and Fanty Monday Lishman at Living Faith Church (Winner’s Chapel) Imgbi Road, Amarata, Yenagoa Bayelsa State.
Speaking on the theme” Understanding the demands of marital success” pastor Integrity said, God is the author of marriage and as such when preparing for success and marriage , the first person to consult is God Almighty.
Pastor Integrity advised couple to build their union on the foundation of God’s word that will stand the test of time.
He said, marriage is ordained to better our life as believers and not to be endured, stressing that success is not complete without having a good home.
Reading from Gen.2:18, Deut.30:32, Ecc.4:9-10, Pst Integrity said, God instituted marriage for man to fulfill his career and destiny, saying that for marriage to be blissful, you most respond to demands of success.
He said, marriage is not a bed of roses and enjoined husband and wife to depend on God to curtail each other excesses and challenges , saying why many homes have crisis is because of lack of fear of God.
The man of God advise couple to place God as deciding factor in their union.
He noted that, marriage comes with lot of adjustment as people of different religion, culture and background comes together as husband and wife, adding that as such they must adjust life styles to suit each other.
He advised couple to be open to each other, plan and discuss issues together and allow peace reign in the family.
According to him,” I love you, I am sorry and thanked you”,are ingredients needed for enjoying blissful home.
He prayed God to build the marriage and make them fruitful.
Later, the marriage train moved to Veroniya event centre swali, Yenagoa for the wedding reception ceremony.
Speaking as chairman of the occasion, Professor Solomon Ebobrah admonished the new couple to love and tolerate one another to have a successful marital home.
Highpoint of the event was the cutting of the marriage cake which was designed by Nostalgia Fresh, Tasty and Healthy Foods, the colours of the cake are Gold and Purple, symbolizing wealth, riches, royalty and wisdom.
The cake designer prayed that the union will experience no lack, God will guide and direct them wisely in their decision making.
The groom, Mr. Ebinyo described his wife as humble, kind hearted and God fearing whom he said is a dream come true for a life time.
The bride Mrs. Ebinyo said her joy knew no bounds for getting married to her missing rib, which she said is the best thing that ever happened in her life and thanked God for a successful marriage.
Ebinyo and Fanty in their vote of thanks , expressed gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the marriage and for finding time to grace the occasion.
