The wedding and traditional marriage ceremony between Oyeintari Success Willie from Waduwei-Ama, Amassoma in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area, Bayelsa State and Comrade Franklin Magada of Ojobo town in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State has been solemnized and consummated at The Book of Life Outreach Ministries and the residence of the bride’s parents, Engr.and Mrs. Moses Willie at Ebitari International School, off new road, Biogbolo in Yenagoa.
At the wedding ceremony, the officiating Minister, who is the Lead Pastor of The Book of Life Outreach Ministries, Pastor Jonathan Ayibaitari while joining Oyeintari and Franklin identified submission to each other as the major building block to establish a solid marital life.
Speaking on the topic “Marriage Is A Commitment”, the Man of God charged the couple to submit to each other in every aspect of their lives in love, finance, decision making as they have become one flesh.
Taking his text reading from Ephesians 5:1-21, the Man of God said the first submission is the couple to submit their marriage to God and use the scriptures to guide their daily living
He noted that God hate divorce and advised the couple to resist third party interference in their home. Pastor Jonathan prayed God to bless, protect, guide and make the couple fruitful in every aspect of their marital life.
At the traditional marriage ceremony conducted at same venue, Chairman of the occasion, Hon.Fola Akpotuwaerin, member Delta State House of Assembly, in his opening remarks described marriage as a sacred institution ordained by God for mankind to fulfill destiny and stated that whoever findeth a woman findeth a good thing and obtaineth favour from her.
The Lawmaker informed that the marriage entourage came from Ojobo to Amassoma to fulfill divine and traditional injunction, stressing that marriage is a continuous school of life where nobody graduate.Hon.Akpotuwaerin prayed God to bless the newly married couple.
Spokesman of the bride family Alfred Ayah and the groom family Chief Tito Okolo conducted the marriage in accordance with the Amassoma native laws, customs and traditions to the admiration of invited guests.
The cake designer, Mrs. Diepreye Oborokumo supervised the cutting of the wedding cake.She described the cake as desirable, which according to her represent fruitfulness. togetherness, long life and prosperity for the couple.
Bride identification and find my husband was observed, and father of the bride, Engr. Moses Willie prayed for the newly wedded couple.
The latest couple took to the dance floor and showcased their practiced and well rehearsed dancing steps with invited guests, family members, well wishers and a retinue of IYC members responding with a naira rain on the couple in different denominations .
In their vote of thanks, Mr.and Mrs. Franklin Oyeintari Magada expressed gratitude to God for making their marriage possible and thanked everyone for their support, contributions towards the success of the marriage and for finding time to grace the occasion.
