Rapper Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar popularly known as ‘Cardi B’ has announced her separation from her husband Kiari Kendrell Cephus aka ‘Offset.’
The pair got married secretly in Atlanta in September 2017 and welcomed their first child together Kulture in July 2018.
She announced their break up with an Instagram video saying;
“So everyone been bugging me and everything and you know I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father for how many now and we’re really good friends and you know really good business partners and you know he’s always somebody that I went to, to talk to and we got a love for each other but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time and it’s nobody’s fault.
“It’s just like I guess we grew out of love but we’re not together anymore.
“I don’t know, it might take time to get a divorce and I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father.”
Offset commented “Y’all won” under the video. The couple have had their challenges with Offset cheating on her and she documented the issue in her song ‘Be Careful’ off her Invasion of Privacy Album.
