BURUTU- A socio-political group, Burutu Political Watch has urged the one time speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Frank Enekorogha to declare interest for the Reps seat for an adequate service delivery and a robust effective representation come 2019.
The group in a press statement signed by its spokesman Mr. Tonwei Kasikoro said, ‘‘We call on (Hon) Franc Enekorogha to declare interest for the Burutu Federal Constituency seat now for an adequate service delivery and a robust effective representation. The call became necessary after a critical search on who to rescue Burutu federal constituency from poor leadership/representation and legislative recklessness.
‘‘The legislative recklessness and blunder occasioned with failed motions, lack of federal presence in carrying out even constituency projects as well as influenced projects and the stylish division among constituents that has toppled and greeted the over 3yrs reign of the present government calls for a concern.
‘‘ Burutu federal constituency is in dilemma, and needs a credible leader and a technocrat more like Rt. (Hon) Franc Enekorogha to salve the people from poor representation at the national politics. When Hon. Frank Enekorogha was there, people at both the national and local level feels his impacts of representation.’’ He said.
The group said that National House of representative politics should be allowed and left in the hands of matured and experienced minds who could command respect from other colleagues that make things happen and not those tagged with seeming noise makers who only succeeded in failing woefully.
‘‘Our choice for Rt. (Hon) Franc Enekorogha was due to his past track record which impacted so much to the people of Burutu and Nigerians as meaningful bills were sponsored by him during his first tenure. In respect of the above, we have Rt. (Hon) Franc as a bridge builder who for the first time in less than 3yrs attracted over 20 people oriented projects as well as constituency projects that can salvage the yearnings of Burutu people for true leadership that will restore sanctity and the sanity in the polity at both national and Burutu politics the group noted.
The group however, has described Rt. (Hon) Franc Enekorogha as a voice, good listener, team player, peace builder, disciplined and trusted national leader who could give succour to the people of Burutu local Government area the needed representation at the national level.
