Breaking: Soldiers invade Ndoro community in Bayelsa over militants activities as residents flee

YENAGOA- The Nigerian army has raided the peaceful Ndoro community in Bayelsa state over activities of sea-pirates from the place led by one notorious criminal and wanted Kareowei who set a camp operating few kilometres from the community.

The said Kareowei who was behind the kidnap of four missionary workers in Enekoragha town in Burutu LGA of Delta State and untill the release of the hostages, one among them was shot dead by the abductors. The same Kareowei was also behind the recent killing of government secret criminal investigator in broad day at Ndoro town, who eyewitnesses said was beheaded by wanted Kareowei and his gang. The Kareowei and his gang have caused pain to several persons in the riverine area.

Reports coming from the community that Nigerian soldiers have in their usual style have vent their anger on the innocent community by raiding the community. Report is not clear on the number of causualties. But sources said the villagers have fled the community. Our reporter in Ekeremor town, about two kilometers away from Ndoro said that he heard  sounds of sporadic gun fire from the Ndoro community as at the time of filing this report
