- Fingers Tompolo boys to carry out the planned attack
The leadership of Aladja community in Udu LGA of Delta state has raised an alarm that Ogbe-Ijaw community is planning to invade their community, using Tompolo fighters when the governor of the state, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa travels out of the state, leaving the state for Deputy governor, Barr. Kingsley Otuaro as acting governor.
Aladja community spokesman Mr. Ighotegwolor Bezi made this disclosure in a press statement sent to Daily Watch in Warri, said ‘‘By tomorrow, 15th July,2018, the Executive Governor of Delta State,SEN. Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa,will be going abroad for his annual leave for two weeks. This is not a new thing nor s breaking news but it has become pertinent to say it because of the series of events that may take place in his absence. In the absence of the Governor,Barr. Kingsley Brutu Otuaro,the Deputy Governor takes charge as the acting Governor. In the absence of the governor the Ijaws,ably armed by Government Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo,Favour Izoukumor,Boro Opudu,Frank Omare,etc will attack Aladja.
‘‘ The attack will be carried out by boys trained by Tompolo. It is not as if Aladja is afraid or bothered by their level of preparedness but I am making this known to the public now because anytime they attack they are the first to rush to the press through Emma Amaize,Brisibe,Okosu,etc to distort the fact of the attack. I want to put it on record here that since they are bringing the fight to our tuft they should be prepared for a mass burial of their hired fighters and their volunteers. Aladja is the Israel of Urhobo land. God is holding Aladja with His victorious right hand and no weapons gathered and fashioned against her shall prevail. To all security operatives in the state: una dey see dem yet una keep quiet ooo. To Gov. Okowa: hold Otuaro,Boro,Omare,Izoukumour,Izan,Tompolo responsible for any break down of law and order in your absence or a few days after ur return. There will surely be an attack but it is the Ijaws that will attack Aladja.’’ He disclosed.
