*Calls for calm as Bayelsans await announcement

The Younger brother to the deputy Governor of Bayelsa State and grassroot Mobilizer in Nembe local government area, Mr.Gabriel Jonah has commended INEC and the Military for ensuring a peaceful and fair conduct of the exercise in the whole local Government Area.
He made this known while exchanging views with newsmen in his country home Ogbolomabiri.
Jonah, who decamped from the PDP to join forces with the APC few months to the election urged the youths of the area to remain law abiding and shun violence even during the post election period, while also commended for their peaceful disposition during the voting process.
According to him”INEC has done their best, and we the politicians most of the time are the problems. We all know that they are humans but we are still confidence in their ability, whatever the outcome we”ll accept it in good faith
“APC is already coasting to victory, from our various unit but not officially announced yet. And I believe the candidate of the APC who knows the problems of the people will eventually emerge winner. He understands the security situation of the state because of the experience as an expert.”
He also called for calm among all political parties and their supporters as Bayelsans awaits the final collation and announcement of results of the just concluded 2019 governorship election in the state, adding that the results will reflect the true desires of the masses.
An INEC official who spoke to our correspondent on condition of anonymity in Kolokuma Local Government Area said collation of result will be completed on Sunday (today).
