The Pastor who directed his members to cover him up from the prying
eyes of journalists cameras after coming out of the court room while he made
his way to a car stationed to whisk him away, got infuriated when he
realized journalists still managed to get shots of him.

Noticing that their pastor was no longer comfortable with the manner
journalists managed to get a shot of him, his members descended of
journalists who were outside on the order of the magistrate who
prevented them from covering the proceeding inside the court room.

They swooped on journalists with rage, giving a Silverbird reporter a
slap and damaged the battery of the camera belonging to the
correspondent of TV Continental.

While the drama lasted the pastor was whisked away, members continued
to met havoc at journalists causing commotion in the court premises,
before policemen in the court premises were able to bring the
situation under control.

However, the matter was taken to A Division, where the issue is still
being resilved at the time of filing in this report.

The case was adjourned to 24th March, 2018 for further hearing.

It could be recalled that Abiekunogho was alleged to have fraudulently
obtained a Toyota sport utility vehicle and N20,000 from Sayou, in
exchange for spiritual breakthroughs.

The cleric had allegedly collected the car and the money from Sayou,
promising that he would receive the items in two folds after a month
but the case ended up in court when the promise of spiritual
breakthroughs didn’t come to pass.
