His Royal Highness,(HRH ) Samuel Yekwe and other members of Ogobiri community have prayed for the victory of the National Rescue Movement (NRM) candidate, Princess Preye Amgbare who is vying for the Bayelsa state House of Assembly in Sagbama constituency 11.
Princess Amgbare who received the royal blessing during a consultation visit to her home town with her entourage on Sunday to formally inform her people her intention to contest the Bayelsa state House of Assembly 2023, under the auspices of NRM in Sagbama constituency 11, in Sagbama local Government area.
Speaking at the occasion, HRH, Samuel Yekwe
prayed to God for the political victory of their daughter, Princess Amgbare in 2023 Bayelsa Assembly polls.
Also, in their separate speeches, Apostle Ephraim Amgbare and comrade Idouye Amgbare, President Ogobiri federated comnunuties have pressed hope and confidence on Amgbare’s candidacy, adding Amgbare had displayed high sense of responsibility and leadership capacity. They assured her of total support by standing with her to achieve victory to represent them in Bayelsa State House Assembly comes 2023.
They however, advised her to go round the constituency to traternize with all the wards to ensure total political victory.
In her brief remark, Princerss Amgbare who is the daughter of the Paramount ruler of Ogobiri Kingdon, HRM Rufus Amgbare, greeted her people with total prostration before, HRH Samuel Yekwe, members of traditional council of Chiefs, other women groups, youths for the show of love towards her political ambition.
Amgbare pledged not to disappoint the people of Sagbama constituency 11. Adding that her empowerment programmes as well as constituency projects would cut across all communities/wards, irrespective of political parties.
High point of the event was the decoration with traditional wrapper by the woman leader Mrs Betty which signifies “victory” ahead of the 2023 polls.
