CP Ibrahim stated that the Command will enforce all the extant laws prohibiting the use of fireworks such as “knock-out,” “banger” etc.

While noting that the ban is necessary to safe-guard public safety and avoid distractions to security operatives, especially during the yuletide season, CP Ibrahim enjoined members of the public not to run foul of the law as anyone caught will be decisively dealt with.

The CP also assures Deltans of their safety at all times just as he urged them to continue to support the police and other security agencies in their untiring efforts at providing a peaceful and secured environment for the people.
