UGHELLI- All Peoples Congress (APC) leaders have assured party supporters that the party will surprise Deltans by defeating the People Democratic Party (PDP) candidates across the state at all levels in the forthcoming council election, which would be a litmus test for the governor’s poll in 2019.
The man popularly referred as the people senator, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege told the mammoth crowd today (Saturday) in Ughelli and Utujeremi, headquarters of Ughelli North/South LGAs respectively during party rallies, said ‘‘ How can Deltans vote for PDP led administration that cannot pay workers salary and pensioners benefit? We are tired of PDP. We want accountability, Government is a failure. APC will defeat PDP across the state in next year January local Government election at all level.’’
He accused Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa of abandoning the entire state of infrastructural development, except his home town, where the state governor concentrates all the state resources on development.
In his speech, the Delta state Chairman of APC , Prophet Jones Erue has said PDP is an error in Delta state and urged Deltans to reject that error at all levels in the state by sweeping PDP away with their party’s broom in the forthcoming local Government polls which he noted will tell PDP their fate in the governorship election in 2019 in Delta State.
He thanked party faithfuls abandoned their precious businesses to come together at the APC rallies in the two council areas. He promised that APC administration will bring the needed change, succour and infrastructural development across all nooks and carnies the state.
