Chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Tuomo ward 3 Mr. Endonyabo Morentei Ware-ebi in Burutu LGA of Delta state has denied earlier media report that there was no time Elder Godsday Orubebe’s application to join APC was rejected by the party. That the party is ready to welcome the former minister Godsday Orubebe and others at the ward level in the great party.
Edonyabo described the purported media report as false and fabrication from the imagination of the fabricators of such lies, intended to mislead the public.
APC ward 3 Chairman Mr. Endonyabo disclosed this to Daily Watch in Warri in a press statement, said ‘‘ Having stated the obvious, the alleged rejection of elder Godsday Orubebe’s bid to join the APC is totally untrue and unfounded. I implore the masses and teeming faithfuls of our great party, APC at all levels to treat this misleading press release as garbage and be ignored.
‘‘ As chairman Tuomo ward 3, I am yet to receive any official application of interest from the elder statesman and former minister of Niger Delta affairs by himself or through a proxy to join the APC family in Tuomo ward 3’’ he said.
According to the press statement, ‘‘ Those impersonating the APC Tuomo ward 3 Chairman and its executives are causing disunity in our ward. I make bold to emphasize that Tuomo ward 3 where Elder Godsday Orubebe belongs has not received any letter. That any interest to defect to our great party, the ward chairman and my executives alone cannot take the decision either to accept or reject such application without due process as stipulated in our great party’s constitution. Therefore, the public should disregard the earlier published purported rejection of Godsday Orubebe in APC’’ he declared.
