Barely four days after an accident along Benin Owo road in Ondo state claimed life of five persons, another five persons again lost their life in an auto crash along Ondo Ore road.
The accident, which happened around 2.00pm on Sunday, according to police report, involved a Volkswagen Sharon with registration number Lagos KTU 607 BW and a trailer.
The driver of the car, whose name was given as Sunday Dickson, died on the spot with four other occupants.
The trailer and its diver, were reported to have escaped from the scene of the incident before the arrival of policemen from Ondo.
Three other occupants of the car that sustained various degrees of injuries have been rushed to the Trauma centre, Ondo for medical attention, while corpses of deceased persons have been deposited at the Teaching Hospital morgue.
The police explained that efforts are being made to apprehend the runaway truck driver.
In the accident which happened four days ago, two vehicles had a head on collusion which led to the burning of the vehicles.
