BOMADI—The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has praised the developmental achievements of Hon. Rawlings Dagidi Andaye, the Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Area, Delta State, describing his emergence as an answered prayer by the Christian community.
Apostle Liberty Usiaiyo, Chairman of CAN’s Bomadi chapter and General Overseer of Covenant of Glory International Church, made the remarks during a Sunday Thanksgiving Service at the church’s headquarters in Bomadi.
He attributed Hon. Andaye’s leadership to the result of fervent prayers by the body of Christ to transform the state of governance and development in the area.
“I want to appreciate God for answering our fervent prayers for Bomadi Local Government Area. Today, we can see development thriving, with buildings springing up like water and grasses,” Apostle Usiaiyo said.
He added: “I thank Hon. Dagidi Andaye, who God is using to bless our land. We pray for more grace for him to continue his good works.”

Reflecting on CAN’s commitment to praying for transformational leadership in Bomadi, Apostle Usiaiyo recounted how the association sought God’s intervention to bring about godly leaders who would drive development.
“CAN has always prayed for Bomadi to rise and shine, asking God to touch the hearts of our political leaders and bring the needed development to our local government area,” he said.
Speaking about CAN’s 2023 Annual Local Government Thanksgiving, Apostle Usiaiyo recalled: “I declared that we don’t want any ungodly person to become chairman. I boldly said that if such a person emerged, we would pray against them, and they would not succeed. Hon. Dagidi Andaye’s emergence is proof that God heard our prayers.”
He further stated that under godly leadership, the people of Bomadi are now jubilant, with smiles and joy over ongoing projects and visible progress in the area.
“When the people of God are in authority, the masses rejoice. Bomadians are celebrating the current government in council. I pray that God blesses and encourages Hon. Dagidi Andaye to continue his good works for the people,” Apostle Usiaiyo concluded.
Hon. Andaye’s leadership continues to draw praise as residents witness tangible progress under his administration.
