The police in Akwa Ibom State have confirm ed the a student who was stabbed to dead by a school mate over alleged cult activity showdown.
The police identifies the slain student as Samuel archibong of community secondary school, aka offot, in Akwa ibom state and his alleged assailant as james Elijah.
The police spoke person in the state, Mr, ODIKO MACDON stated this in a statement in uyo. Mr, ODIKO MACDON done explain details of the entire matter meanwhile the commissioner for education Mrs, IDONGESIT ETIEBET has dive into the matter to make sure proper investigation take place for true justices to stand not minding the circumstances whoever is involved that the ministry would not leave any stone unturned, as they have ordered the students to go home immediately not to experience any crises or violence among them.
She advise parent to always check their children’s character, continue advising them not to associate with uncharacterized students but should understanding they came to study and not to cause violence or involved in allege cult activities in school which Government would not tolerate after providing conducive environment for learning.
The commissioner of police Akwa Ibom State, Mr ANDREW AMRENGHEME has order his crack team to invade and take surveillance unit to the school check the excesses of student. Mr MADON said in his statement.
The commissioner has condemn the act entirely. He has advise parent to always take care of their children especially their activities when back at home.
‘’The police would not give up despite the challenge continue to patrol across schools in the state to ensure safety of students while does committed the crime would not go free for justices to stand.
