Akwa Ibom Government has tremendously sunk enough funds over the fight against Covid-19 Pandemic to serve the lives of those affected by the Pandemic that is ravaging the globe.
The Chairman Nigerian Medical Association Akwa Ibom State Branch, Dr. Ime Sylvester Udoh who spoke with daily watch in Uyo, Explain Government commitment despite the challenges still stand the ground for the Pandemic to be eradicated.
The Chairman said the fight continue to encourage Government to provide drugs, food, and especially discovered other sickness on the affected patients treat them free of charge showcasing Government responsibilities on her citizen not to lose any soul because every citizens is important.
“Akwa Ibom Government has sincerely worked tirelessly for Nigerians to commend their efforts fight against the Pandemic which has skyrocket them to be one of the best State that has been committed to serve the live of her Citizens.
The Medical Boss said Doctors and Health Workers also risks their lives for the success the State achieve while make sure the Pandemic become history over their hard work and believe they have not fail the State towards their citizens lives especially educating them the danger of the Pandemic.
He note that most Nigerian have exhibited character of ignorant without wearing their face mask again especially during occasion and advise them to understand the Pandemic has not vanish but still ravaging the globe should continue to make use of their face mask for their own benefit.
He said his tenure would witness an open door policy where all members would contribute for the development of the Association as he would kick against discrimination to make sure every member is carried along, while believe before leaving office would leave a legacy that members will never forget in a hurry since the existent of the Association.
