50 man Fulani herdsmen again hit Tiv community in Kogi

         *Destroy houses, goods worth several millions of Naira.

KOGI-Like a reoccurring decimal, the menace of herdsmen seem far from over as they have moved their killing train to another North central state, this time Kogi state where they killed over ten persons and destroyed property worth several Millions of Naira.

The unrelenting herdsmen who visited two Tiv Communities of Ilai an outskirt of Mopamuro and Ido -Gbede of Ijumu Local government areas of kogi state did so in style as they stormed the two communities armed with Ak 47 riffles their usual weapon of mass murder.

The 50 man herdsmen squad ho were said to have stormed the communities did so in the early hours of Monday morning at about 345 to 4am when the inhabitants were just waking of their beds and shooting randomly on any moving target with just a single intent, killing all in sight.

Daily Watch spoke with the Public Relation Officer of the Nigerian police in Kogi state to confirmed the attack and killing of over ten persons but the state PRO William Ayah pleaded for time as he confessed that his office has not been briefed by the Divisional Police officers or area commanders of the areas mentioned while the Administrator of Mopamuro honorable David Sunday Moses confirmed the attack by the said Fulani headsmen in the two Tiv’s Communities mentioned.
