Warri- There is mass movement of People Democratic Party (PDP) members in Delta state as over three thousand members in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area, home town of Ex-militant leader, High Chief Oweizide Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo as well as the Deputy Governor of Delta State, Barr Kingsley Otuaro who have dumped the Party and joined the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC.
The former PDP faithfus decamped at the weekend in Gbaramatu Kingdom strong enclave of the PDP.
A Chieftain of the APC and an indigene of the kingdom, Chief Michael Johnny received the decampees, his kinsmen into the party in great jubilation.
Johnny, an indigene of Gbaramatu and Deputy Chairman of the Mainstream Delta APC,MDA, a pressure group charged the new members to take the message back home to others that the salvation of the Ijaw nation would be delivered by the APC.
Chief Johnny reminded the people that the kingdom had been in turmoil since it fell into the hands of PDP politicians, promising them that the exclusion which the majority of the people in Gbaramatu had suffered under PDP would soon end, when the APC takes the state.
