Delta State House of Assembly candidate under the People Democratic Party ( PDP) Burutu South constituency 11, Chief Peres Oloye has lauded Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for being tipped as PDP presidential candidate by the party.
Chief Oloye also thanked Alhaji Atiku Abubarka for his wise choice of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, noting that Okowa will do the underrground campaign work as ”man Friay” with his expertise as a olitical tactician for both of them to easily rule the country comes 2023.
Oloye made the disclosure Thursday while reacting to the choice of the Delta state governor as vice presidential candidate by Alhaji Atiku Abubarka in the 2023 general election.
According to him, ” Choosing Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for the PDP presidential candidate to Alhaji Atiku Abubarka was the nice thing done by the party top hierachy. That the choice of Governor Okowa is a square peg in a square hole aimed to win election in the 2023 general election.'” He said.
He noted that Governor Okowa’s choice wiill great boost the PDP chances of victory so glaring as running mate to Alhaji Atikubar who is also a widely accepted presidential candidate.
He said Atiku/ Okowa combination will make the game easy for the party, adding that Okowa as an astitute administrator and master strategist would turn around the economy of the nation for good, if voted into power.
He said further that Okowa choice as vice Presidential candiadte will fast track PDP victory quicker as Okowa will make input to the Atiku’s administration with his magic wand as two tenure governor in Delta State.
He urged Nigerians to vote Atiku/Okowa joint ticket to Aso rock comes 2023 to better the nation.
