2023 Delta/C Senatorial: Ex- UPU Youth leaders back Dafinone’s ambition

Ahead of the 2023 general election,  the Ex- Youth Leaders of Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) World-Wide have  declared their  support for Okakuro Ede  Dafinone- the APC Delta Central Senatorial Candidate.

The Ex- Leaders of the UPU Youth Wing Body  made this declaration   recently at the Country home of  Okakuro Dafinone in Sapele during their meeting with him.
According to the group, speaking through their Secretary, Engr. Ochirue A. Collins (Evwreni Kingdom) that they decided to declared their support for Okakuro Dafinone going by his contribution to the development of Urhobo Nation particularly Okpe Kingdom through the Dafinone Foundation which came into existence in 2007.
Engr. Ochirue said, the group which was established over  10 years ago, cut across the 24 Urhobo Kingdoms, into clans and sudclans.
Engr. Ochirue assured the APC Delta Central Senatorial Candidate that the group is fully prepared to canvass for votes  moving from Unit to the other across the 24 Urhobo Kingdoms, stressing that  Urhobo having Chief Dafinone at  Senate,  he will attract development projects to Urhobo Nation with his wealth of experience in the  public and private sector as an Entrepreneur at the top level .
Also adding his voice at the meeting,  the group Spokesman, Comrade Friday Durhie stated that with the group membership cutting across the 24 Urhobo Kingdoms have the wherewithal  to mobilize for Okakuro Dafinone anytime anyday when call upon .
In his response, the APC  Delta Central Senatorial Candidate, Okakuro Ede  Dafinone while thanking the group for meeting with him, assured them that Urhobo Nation will not regret sending him to the Senate because according to him, it is vital  to have someone  who understands  finance and economic through his social life couple with wealth of experience is send to the Senate in Abuja, adding that sending the right person to the Senate irrespective of political affiliation,  the Senatorial District will receive what is due to them from the activities of the Federal Government. ” So,  I’m the most qualified  Person to represent Urhobo Nation at the Senate
“I must let you know that through the Dafinone Foundation I have been able to empowered over 2000 Persons both women and  youths in various skills.
Amongst those  who joined Chief Dafinone to received the group were Chief Francis Atanomeyovwi (JP)” Hon Commissioner, National Assembly Service Commission and Samuel Omoku while on the part of the group were Mr. Godfrey Egbevwie- Deputy National President, Bishop Amos Ogheneovo, Comrade Friday Durie, Mr Daniel Teshoma, Mr Felix Erue, Hon Alhaji Oki A. Felix and other members of Ex- Youth Leaders of Urhobo Progress Union UPU World-Wide.
