The people of ward eleven (11) Odimodi and Ogulagha have passed vote of confidence on Hon. Julius Pondi and abd also endorsed him unanimously for the third term as federal lawmaker representing Burutu federal constituency for his outstanding performance in the federal house over the years.
They believed that the more the years, the more the experience and advantage which will attract more sustainable developments to the communities in Burutu Local Government area of Delta state.
Hon. Julius Pondi secured the support of his direct political ward yesterday in Warri as he formally flagged off his third tenure campaign to return to the federal law house , first with members of his ward eleven (11) family.
Speaking on behalf of ward eleven (11) in Burutu LGA, the ward chairman Chief Evans Etimigba who was obviously seen elated with Pond’s third term ambition thanked the people of all Burutu PDP members, especially his ward, Odimodi/ Ogulagha for the unity and love displayed.
Chief Etimigba moderated a voice voting process with a motion raised by Chief Tom Willie urging for a support from his ward on the third tenure ambition of Hon. Julius Pondi by passing a vote of confidence as well as endorsment to return him to the green chambers, following his sterling track record over the years at the gren chambers.
The motion was seconded by Hon. Isaac Ingo which was unanimously adopted by the ward stakeholders and leaders in great jubilation.
Chief Tom Willie emphasized that Pondi has influenced developments to all the wards in Burutu LGA over the years. Noting that the legislative federal house needs people with experience and selfless leaders that Pondi’s third term ambition would be beneficial to the entire Burutu LGA as his past antecedents have glaring spoken for him as a vibrant young capacity leader that would usher him the PDP primary ticket.
In their various addresses, Burutu PDP top shots from ward 11, Barr. P.K Eseimode and Barr. Sam Ikporikpo have glowinly eulogized Hon. Julius Pondi as a young vibrant lawmaker who has performed beyond expectation within internal politicking in the green chambers by being vocal and contributed to national development and sustainable infrastructure develooment as well as human capital empowerment of various degrees among different beneficiaries in Bururu communities.
They appealed to people in Burutu to always believed in the leadership ability of Hon. Julius Pondi for his quality and robust representation at the green chambers.
Hon. Pondi thanked members of his immediate political ward for giving him the confidence and trust on his leadership style. He assured them that he would not dissappoint of the confidence reposed on him.
According to Pondi, ” In my seven years at the federal house as a federal lawmaker, representing the good people of Burutu federal constituency, I have sponsored and co-sponsored a lot of bills, raised motions which many have been passed into law. I have also influenced several develoomental projects in all the wards in Burutu LGA. I want to thank leaders in Burutu LGA and my ward in particular for total support and the honour accorded to me. By the grace of God,, my return to the federal house will bring more developments to all the communities in Burutu LGA. I have made quite a wide range of consultations and the responses are amazingly favourable to my third tenure ambition, that is why I choosed today to filormally declare to you as my first family in Burutu. As it, the prayers and support you have given me today have given me more confidence and see the victory in the fourth coming primary and general elections in 2023′. We shall come together for another victory celebration in 2023 by the grace of God.”
