With the Presidential elections only four days to go and the governorship slated to following the political firmament seem to be getting tense and even vibrating with several discoveries as regards certificates presented by some candidates for the Elections.
While among the Presidential Candidates in the race only President Mohammadu Buhari could be said to be having problem over his WAEC Certificates as what he has is simply an honorary WAEC Certificate never heard of in the history of WAEC since he never completed his class four talk more of writing WAEC.
In the governorship cadre the situation is quite different as the certificate problems seem to have rubbed out on several Governorship Candidates whose forms with the electoral body either have a phony certificate or outright absence of certificates but shocking declaration.
The first amongst the 36 states under contention s the APC Governorship candidate for Delta state Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru whose WAEC certificate seemed to be creating problems as it has been confirmed that the APC Candidate did not present any certificate among the documents he submitted to INEC shoeing his WAEC results of scores.
Most school mates of the very handsome aspirants spoken to about Great’s result were unwilling to comment as his School certificate issue is shrouded in extreme secrecy.
Another Candidate with a phone result is the APC Candidate in Ogun state who seemed to have filled a different sets of qualifications when going for the Senate context in Ogun state from that of the Governorship context over discovery that what he filled in the senatorial context in 2015 was all lies as he Never attended the University of IFE or graduated from there as he clinically lied in his form with INEC, also discovered was his lie about doing the mandatory NYSC as he claimed in 2015 only to wisely dumped all claims to Ife, NYSC, Degree from the USA in his governorship form to fill just his WAEC Certificates which is only the authentic certificates he has as against the lies he told when he went for Senatorial contest claiming an Accounting Degree from IFE and Another from a USA University.
Another Aspirant with certificate brouhaha hanging over his wise cap is the Executive Governor of Adamawa state who has no WAEC Certificate in his kitty but was able to wrangle his way to contesting the governorship race in 2015 and luckily won and until date still has no WAEC Certificate one of the compulsory requirements needed to stand for the governorship race in any state.
At present the governor is battling from all angle to hide this Educational deficiency which is now hunting him as some members of the APC in Adamawa state are in Court already asking Governor Bindow Jubrilla to produce his none existing WAEC Certificate.
In Katsina, the executive governor of the State Aminu Masari, a onetime Speaker of the House of Representative is holding forth in Katsina without the stipulated WAEC O’level Certificate despite been able to hide same and gain elections into the National Assembly where he rose to become Speaker before becoming the governor of Katsina sate.
Till date the only certificate peddled by the Katsina Governor is one phony certificate he got in some phony certificate course on water management he secretly went abroad that has no bearing to any degree, diploma or WAEC Certificate but again he is from the right part of the country so still marching on with his substandard qualification to go for a 2nd term in Katsina , the home state of his accomplice in WEAC Certificate Abracadabra, President Mohammadu Buhari.
