Manager, Diden and Uduaghan
WARRI-Ahead of the 2019 general elections in the Country, it is gathered that the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan and the member representing the people of Warri North in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Michael Diden, a.k.a, Ejele may battle politically with the incumbent member representing the people the Delta South Senatorial District, Sen. James Manager over his seat.
Although,Dr. Uduaghan has not formally declared his intention for the Senatorial Seat, two years after, he seems to be warming up for the same seat even though he is being silent on political matters since he left office as executive governor of the state.
It is not clear if Dr. Uduaghan who backed out of the Senatorial contest in 2015 for fear of causing acrimony between the ethnic nationalities in Delta South especially amongst Ijaws and Itsekiri is now ready to do same by daring Ex-militant leader, High Chief Oweizide Government Ekpemupolo, Alias Tompolo by battling Sen. James Manager with his sudden confidence since the return of Chief James Onanefe Ibori from London Prison.
Whether Uduaghan will have the backing, support and blessing of Chief James Onanefe Ibori to engage in the political fight is another subject matter.
From what we gathered, Senator James Manager is also warming up to go back to the Senate.
It is gathered that the member representing the people of Warri North in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Michael Diden,A.k.a,Ejele who already has the blessings of incumbent governor of Delta State might also battle with Sen. James Manager over the same seat.
Diden who has not declared his intention we gathered is ready to battle with Uduaghan and Senator James Manager over the senatorial Seat in 2019.
But should Uduaghan and Diden really embark on the battle, political watchers say they must provide job for Senator James Manager for him not to be jobless so as to have a smooth sail.
It would be recalled that Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan backed out of the Senatorial contest in 2015 for fear of not causing tension in State.
Uduaghan’s action did not go down well with his Itsekiri kinsmen who felt that he(Uduaghan)betrayed their confidence.
