ABUJA-Barring any last minute change in plans in talks between Atiku Political Family and that of the strong man of Lagos political Chief Asiwaju Tinubu the dire seem to have finally been cast for 2019 presidential elections.
Daily Watch investigations confirmed some secrets meetings over time between the Atiku political family and that of the strong man of South West Politics Asiwaju Bola Tinubu towards forging a common front for the 2019 Presidential elections.
The Dou who are key members of the APC and played strategic role in the coming to power of the Buhari led government seem to be totally not only disenchanted with the government of Buhari but felt alienated by the All Progressive Congress(APC) after winning the Presidential elections in 2015.
Towards this end, the two political blocks have been meeting severally via proxies and just about some two weeks ago reached a comprehensive agreement and frame work on the affinity and political relationship between both groups with the Bola Tinubu group acceding to back the Atiku Presidential pursuit and getting the ticket of the Vice President in return and the Igbo’s picking the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and the deputy Senate President while the office of the President of the Senate going to the South south and speaker of the House of representative allocated to the North central.
This agreement which is a culmination of several meetings is said to have created a new panic in the camp of the President Political family which presently is in the hands of the cabal headed by the older cousin of the President in the Villa which was among the reasons for the attack of most Business interest of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and that of Abubarkar Atiku several weeks back.
It is this development that has forced the cabal in the Presidency which has refused and clocks all avenues for the NEC of the APC to meet to consent to the meeting that is slated in the days ahead after serious threat.
As a result, the cabal carried out strategies as bribe and lobby to woe most of the disenchanted governors and party members back to line over fear of the Atiku and Tinubu alliance which seem to be creating uncommon panic within and around the rank and file of the APC with the cabal now struggling to finally use some South Western appointees to curb and finally curtail the much touted influence of Bola Tinubu in the South west and a total sum of over 5 billion budgeted for the deal which is meant to decimate totally the political prowess of Bola Tinubu Before 2019.
Attempts to speak with the media team of BolaTinubu was not feasible as at the time of going to the press to confirm or deny the new alliance but those close to Atiku genuinely confirm that Abubakar Atiku is truly meeting with people all over the country and not restricted to the South west alone as such any story of alliance between Atiku and any political group to get te country out of the wood and uncommon disunity for which the country is now facing is true and factual.
