2019: Ahwinahwi assures constituents rapid project devt, if re-elected

AGBARHO- Member House of Representative  at the National Assembly in Abuja Chief (Hon.) Solomon Ahwinahwi has said  that he would influence continued rapid infrastructural development in his constituency, if given the mandate again  to represent Ughelli/ Udu Federal Constituency in Delta State.

Chief Ahwinahwi  gave this assurance  recently  in Agbarho,  Ughelli North Local Govrrnment Area when he hosted  the 14  Communities that mdke up Agbarho Kingdom and the Ughelli/  Udu PDP Federal Constituency to appreciate  them for their wonderful support.

His words, ” My re- election means more development and progress  to Agbarho Kingdom  in particular and our Federal  Constituency in general. This is because my going back to the House of Representatives   will make me first line ranking Member. In effect that will make me become Chairman of a grade  A Committee in the House which of course will enable me influence more dividends of democracy to our area by way of attracting more projects, employments and other infrastructural and human Capital development.

The Law Maker while thanking the People of Agbarho Kingdom who have always risen to the task of placing the  interest of Kingdom  above their personal differences to vote for him,   went on to high light some of the projects he has attracted to the Kingdom for the past three years which include,  the construction of Esiso,  Onome Okpalefe Street,  Oku Street,  Ekreravwen,  Ughwrughelli road,  Agbarho 3 km by NDDC presently under construction, secondly, the provision of a Primary Health Care Center at Ophori,  thirdly, the provision of a new block of  three Classrooms at Ophori, fourthly,  the proposal for the construction of Ekreravwen-Oguname-Ophori road to link Ughwrughelli road through the Ecological Funds Office presently receiving attention.
Other programmes also attracted to the Kingdom by the Lawmaker include,  the post Seasonal intervention  draining  Programme on Agriculture for 60 youths and Women from the Federal Constituency with a good number from the Kingdom,   the Empowerment training programme organised by the National Agency for the prohibition of trafficking  in Persons (NAPTIP).
” Similarly some of our brothers and sisters were nominated for the federal Government N-Power Scheme. The three Coordinators for this scheme  have just returned  from  a two-day training programme in Akure,  Ondo State. Likewise some Persons  were  picked to attend a Skill Acquisition training  programme organized by National Directorate of Employment. Also in  my last empowerment programme in June 2017, our people were properly captured apart from the 5 beneficiaries that were picked from every Ward in the Federal Constituency including the two wards of Agbarho.
Hon.  Ahwinahwi  disclosed that he facilitated the employment and appointment  of his people  into some Political positions at the Federal and State Levels.    He appealed to those who are yet to benefit  to be patient with him as he is very much aware and mindful  of that as he is already putting more effort toward reaching more people and seas especially  during the implementation of  the 2018 and 2019 budgets which by the grace of God are still within his current  tenure at the National Assembly.

He call on the people of Agbarho to  give total support to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa  second term bid by voting for him massively in the 2019 general election as the working governor have do much in terms of road Construction and that is why he nick named him the road master.

Speaking at the Occasion, the former Minister of Niger-Delta Affairs ,  Dr. Steve Oru  urged the People not to relent on their continue for  the State governor,  Senator Ifeanyi Okowa and Chief Ahwinahwi- the Federal Lawmaker as the duo are desirous of bringing dividends of democracy to the grassroot through the PDP

In a chat with journalists, ad former member of the Delta Stage House of Assembly ,  Hon. Talib Tebite said, he is not surprise at the large turn out of people at the event which he attributed to Hon. Ahwinawi performance at the  National   Assembly and also the attraction of developmental projects to the Ughelli/ Udu Federal Constuency which were evenly  distributed to the three local Government that make up the Federal Constituency.
Also speaking to the Voice,  Jacob Tone- the Director -general  of  Chief Solomon Ahwinahwi Campaign Organisation advise the people of Ughelli/Udu Federal Constituency to support the Lawmaker re-election bid as  it enable him attract more developmental projects to the  Constituency and  also  he will have the opportunity of being a principal Officer at the House.
The Law Maker  accompanied by PDP Chieftains drawn from Ughelli/Udu Federal Constituency has earlier paid a courtesy visit to HRM,  Ajuwe Samson Ogugu 1,the Osuivie of Agbarho Kingdom to receive the Monarch’s royal blessings.
Among those in attendance include,  retired  Brig- general Dominic Oneya,  Chief Grace Oddiri, Chief Moses Odibo,  Chief Patrick Egone,  Hon. Eric Oharisi,  Hon. Lawrence Agbatutu,  Chief Paddock Okitiakpe,  Chief  (Mrs)  Evelyn Ohwojeheri,  Chief Gabriel Ojoba,  Chief Emmanuel Omadevua,  Professor Patrick Mouboghare,  Hon. Patrick Ariole,  Chief Abel Opuidi, Chief John Gbenedio and Others
