” yes! In a bid to show our solidarity to support grassroot football, the Nigeria Football Supporters Club will storm the ,finals of the Felix Anirah Football Tournament on the 8th of September”.
Chairman of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club,NFSC, Rev Sam Ikpea made the above statement during a function he attended in Benin City Edo state last week.
While speaking with Daily Watch the soft speaking Ikpea said private investors need support and encouragement to develop the much loved sport in Nigeria to groom future talents for the national team.
Rev.Ikpea said the sole sponsor of the soccer competition, Chief Felix Anirah has gain their confidence with the rule he played even before the Russian 2018 Fifa World Cup. He noted that Chief Felix Anirah is a true philotropist who also sponsored the 2018 Sapele Athletic Golf amateur Tournament.
The maiden edition of the Felix Anirah Football Tournament, FAFT, have been rated high by all football clubs and academies that participated.
The Delta/Edo state football Quarter final matches will hold at the Sepele Township Stadium on the 1st and 2nd of September.
